Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school located in Washington Navy Yard, DC is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services for a diverse student population. This contract position runs from August 4th, 2025 through June 18th, 2026 and involves working with approximately 40 students.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
- Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech-language pathology
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY)
- Previous experience providing speech-language services in a school setting (K-12)
Location:
Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in meetings and support compliance with educational guidelines
