We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Melville, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in managing inventory processes, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and supporting purchasing activities. This position requires strong organizational skills and familiarity with inventory management tools and systems.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain precise records of inventory levels and update systems accordingly.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely processing.
• Perform accurate data entry for inventory and purchasing details.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and manage spreadsheets for tracking inventory.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address inventory discrepancies.
• Generate charts and graphs to analyze inventory trends and performance.
• Assist in clerical duties as needed to support inventory operations.
• Work with ERP systems to streamline inventory management processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs for inventory analysis.
• Strong communication skills, including handling inbound inquiries professionally.
