X-Ray Technician
Location: Brooklyn, New York
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician for a contract assignment in a fast-paced radiology setting. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, maintain radiation protection standards, and deliver high-quality imaging services.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience required
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology required
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.) required
• ARRT Certification required
• AHA BLS Certification required
Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic X-Ray procedures accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and position patients for radiological imaging procedures
• Operate radiologic imaging equipment while maintaining safety standards
• Ensure radiation protection compliance for patients and staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Monitor image quality and make technical adjustments as needed
• Follow infection control, safety, and radiology department protocols
• Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory management
