Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a qualified School Psychologist to provide expert psychological services in a dynamic educational environment located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This role involves working directly with students, educators, and families to support the mental health and educational success of children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student wellbeing
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to program development
- Utilize data to monitor student progress and inform instructional strategies
- Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives within the school setting
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational regulations
- Experience working with diverse student populations in a school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to multiple school locations as required
