Position Summary

This virtual school psychology position focuses on delivering high-quality psychological services for students in online educational programs. You'll utilize professional telepractice technology to conduct assessments, provide counseling services, and implement behavioral interventions while working closely with educational teams to optimize student outes.

Weekly Hours: 35-37.5 hours Student Reach: 44-54 students in virtual learning environments Academic Range: K-12 with concentration on middle school levels Service Delivery: Telepractice services via secure educational platforms

Primary Functions

  • Perform psychological evaluations and educational assessments using virtual protocols
  • Deliver individual counseling and group therapy services through secure teletherapy platforms
  • Create and implement behavioral intervention plans for virtual learning environments
  • Collaborate with virtual classroom teachers to address academic and behavioral challenges
  • Support families in understanding mental health needs and educational acmodations
  • Participate in virtual multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency mental health support as needed

Minimum Requirements

  • State Licensure: Active school psychologist license in Kentucky
  • Educational Background: Master's degree in School Psychology or related discipline
  • School Experience: Minimum 2 years in educational or clinical settings
  • Virtual Skills: fortable with telepractice platforms and virtual service delivery
  • Professional Standards: Strong adherence to ethical guidelines and clinical best practices

Preferred Credentials

  • Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience with virtual psychological assessments and remote interventions
  • Specialized training in trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatments
  • Background in autism spectrum disorders and learning disabilities
  • Experience working with culturally diverse student populations
