Our organization is looking to hire a full-time Lung Transplant Surgeon to join the team at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, located in Newark, NJ. This facility is a prominent teaching hospital and part of New Jersey's largest integrated healthcare system. This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a skilled, multidisciplinary team that includes pulmonologists, transplant surgeons, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and dietitians.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide surgical care for lung transplant patients.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to manage chronic and complex lung diseases.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic services, including CT-guided biopsies and navigational bronchoscopy.
- Participate in the comprehensive treatment and management of lung transplant patients.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be ABS board-certified or board-eligible with fellowship training in lung transplantation.
- Must hold a valid New Jersey medical license or be eligible for licensure.
- Preferred candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to serving underserved communities.

Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is between $480,000 and $670,000 annually. The final compensation will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience. Additionally, a comprehensive benefits package will be provided.
