Upper School World Languages Teacher (Spanish+) | South Florida
A highly regarded school in Florida is seeking a full-time Upper School World Languages Teacher to join its faculty for the upcoming academic year.
This position involves teaching primarily Spanish, along with one additional world language, to students in grades 9–12. The ideal candidate is passionate about language instruction, creates engaging and student-centered learning experiences, and is committed to fostering global awareness, cultural understanding, and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Upper School world language courses, primarily Spanish
• Develop engaging lessons and meaningful assessments
• Support and mentor students through individualized feedback and guidance
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and instructional initiatives
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and faculty
• Participate actively in school life, professional development, and extracurricular programs
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field (Master's preferred)
• Experience teaching high school students preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Comfort with educational technology and digital learning tools
