Job Description:
The Cath lab is an inpatient and outpatient procedural lab focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients in the upstate New York region. The 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs care for adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of patient conditions. The Cath lab has a comprehensive program with pre and post procedural care holding areas. The practice model is rich with RN staff with CVT collaboration focusing on excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inpatient and outpatient procedures for cardiac diagnosis and intervention.
- Collaborate with CVT staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Provide comprehensive care in pre and post procedural settings.
Requirements:
- 2 years Cath Lab Experience
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- Moderate sedation trained
- Dysrhythmia
- Telemetry
- MUST HAVE: TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman experience
- Experience in Right and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, and Vascular Interventions
- Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience
- Structural Heart Experience Required
- Critical care or Cardiac Experience Required
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
