Summary

Teacher – Full Time / Part Time / Sub Positions
Location: Hampton, VA
Pay: $15–$17/hour (Based on experience)

Duties

  • Build positive relationships with children and families
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of every child
  • Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum (Lead Teachers)
  • Participate in training and ongoing professional development
  • Follow all licensing and program requirements



Requirements

  • High energy and passion for working with children
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Understanding of child development
  • At least 1 year of childcare experience and proof of training
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to meet licensing requirements (background check, TB test, etc.)



Nice To Haves

  • CDA or Associate’s degree or higher
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Medication Administration Training (MAT)
