Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join a full-time position as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology (AT), serving students with extensive special needs. This role supports learners from Kindergarten through middle school across three classrooms at two different school sites located in Oakland, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized speech and language therapy focusing on AAC/AT strategies to students with complex communication needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored intervention plans.
  • Conduct assessments, track progress, and adjust therapies to meet student goals.
  • Communicate with educators and families to foster supportive learning environments.
  • Manage caseload across two sites, ensuring consistent service delivery.
  • Complete compensatory time at the start of the school year, transitioning to a 2.5 day per week schedule thereafter.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC-SLP preferred).
  • Proven expertise in AAC/AT applications and therapies for students with extensive special needs.
  • Experience working with school-aged children from Kindergarten through middle school.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the flexibility to manage multiple classroom settings.
