Join Our Dynamic Team as a Radiologic Technologist I!\n\nAre you ready to make a significant impact in patient care while advancing your professional skills? As a Radiologic Technologist I, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and care to those in need. Here’s what you can expect in this exciting position:\n\n- Produce Diagnostic Examinations: Position patients effectively, utilize immobilization devices, and select proper technical factors tailored to individual patient needs while operating state-of-the-art equipment.\n \n- Radiation Safety: Ensure patient safety by restricting radiation exposure to unaffected areas using collimating devices.\n\n- Portable X-ray Operations: Conduct portable X-ray examinations in diverse settings, including patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency rooms.\n\n- Film Identification: Follow operational procedures to accurately identify and mark patient films.\n\n- X-ray Film Processing: Develop exposed X-ray films using available processing methods.\n\n- Accurate Documentation: Complete patient requisitions with necessary details including technologist initials, date, film number, and size.\n\n- Maintain Clean Environment: Keep the X-ray room neat and organized as directed by the department head.\n\n- Assist with Radiopaque Contrast Media: Prepare and assist physicians in administering radiopaque mixtures to patients.\n\n- Administrative Duties: Manage scheduling appointments, patient instructions, film filing, and maintain accurate records.\n\n- Patient Assistance: Provide assistance to patients based on their individual needs for mobility and comfort.\n\n- Physical Demands: Lift a minimum of 5 lbs., push and pull a minimum of 10 lbs., and stand for a minimum of 6 hours a day.\n\n- Culturally Competent Care: Identify patient needs and adapt care to meet individual requirements (age, culture, language, etc.) with effective communication.\n\n- Adherence to Standards: Comply with the Medical Center’s Organizational Competencies.\n\nQualifications:\n\n- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care facility.\n- Must be able to work independently in emergency settings, including handling trauma patients and operating room (OR) experience.\n- Experience with portable X-rays and pediatric patients is highly valued.\n- High school diploma or equivalent.\n- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.\n- Valid New Jersey State License.\n- Eligibility for the National Registry and successful completion of the examination.\n\nLanguages Required:\n- English: Read, Write, Speak\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
