We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front desk operations for a construction office in Honolulu, Hawaii. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience, managing multiple priorities, and keeping the office running smoothly. The right candidate will bring strong communication skills, recent front desk experience, and confidence using standard office software in a fast-paced workplace.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome clients, vendors, and other visitors while maintaining an organized and efficient front office environment.
• Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, taking accurate messages and routing inquiries promptly.
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries to the appropriate team members.
• Monitor office inventory levels and coordinate the purchase of supplies to ensure daily operations remain uninterrupted.
• Provide general administrative support by assisting with routine clerical tasks and helping staff with front desk needs.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external contacts to support efficient office coordination.
• At least 3 years of recent experience in a receptionist or front desk position.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Demonstrated ability to manage inbound calls on a multi-line or switchboard phone system.
• Strong customer service skills with a detail-oriented and approachable communication style.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy office setting.
• Dependable work ethic and a collaborative approach to working with others.
