Job Description
Client in Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area seeks an CMA/RMA (prefer CMA certified) to assist in back office skills for its Internal Medicine group. Must have certification or be able to get certified upon starting. Office hours are 7:30-4:00 Duties include the following for the position:
- Answer phone calls/messages, clean exam rooms/work areas
- Prior authorizations/referrals
- CMA Certified Preferred, MA Diploma, and able to maintain certification
- Able to give injections and document in EMR (e-clinical works)
- Check vitals, EKGs, CXR, PFT/Spirometry, Stress Test is a plus
- ECW experience is a plus
- Able to work in a very busy environment
- Following COVID protocol – always wear mask, gloves, clean up work station and exam rooms, etc.
- Positive cheerful personality and Great work ethic
- Hourly pay is $19-21/hour depending on experience and if certified with a CMA license up to date.
