Apprentice Carpenter/Carpenter Position Summary:

Eisle Construction is seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Carpenter/Carpenter to join our team of dedicated professionals in lower Fairfield County, Connecticut. In this role, you will contribute to various residential construction projects, primarily focusing on framing and utilizing power tools. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, an eagerness to learn and grow within the industry, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Position Type: Full-Time (5-6 days/week)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of residential construction projects, including framing, demolition, and finish work.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with crew members and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and meet Eisle Construction's quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Contribute to material handling, preparation, and assembly as needed.
• Participate in on-the-job training and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and industry knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, coworkers, and clients to ensure project goals are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience in residential construction, with a focus on framing and power tool usage.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new techniques and industry practices.
• Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and performing manual labor duties.
• Reliable transportation to various job sites in lower Fairfield County.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory background check.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $18-27 per hour, based on experience and on-the-job evaluation.
