Job Description
Test Engineer (Manufacturing)
Type: Onsite
We’re looking for a hands‑on Manufacturing Test Engineer to support manufacturing test processes for optical and electro‑optical modules. This role is focused on test execution, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement — not design or R&D.
What You’ll Do
- Perform electro‑optical testing using tools like oscilloscopes, OSAs, and power meters
- Troubleshoot hardware and test failures on the production floor
- Analyze test data to monitor yield, performance, and reliability
- Improve test setups, parameters, and work instructions
- Support operators/technicians and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D
- Contribute to product transfer from R&D into manufacturing
What You Bring
- Hands‑on electro‑optical or optical test experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Test setup and running for hardware/electromechanical products experience necessary.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Comfort working directly with hardware and test equipment
- Experience improving test processes, documentation, or training
- (Preferred) Exposure to automated testing or tools like Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB
If you enjoy being close to the hardware, solving problems, and improving production test processes, we’d love to talk.
