Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Nuclear Medicine Technologist with expertise in imaging is needed for a contract position based in Anderson, SC. This opportunity involves working primarily in a busy healthcare environment with a day shift schedule (Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM). The role requires flexibility to float between facilities within the local health system, ensuring quality care across multiple units for which the technologist is qualified.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Utilize the Omnicell medication system and document patient care accurately in EPIC
- Float between facilities as required, assisting other units while maintaining high-quality standards
- Maintain sterile technique and dress code compliance (Hunter Green scrubs)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered services
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in nuclear medicine imaging
- Current ARRT Nuclear Medicine (N) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency with EPIC and Omnicell systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and float to multiple sites within the health system
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
