Salary Range: $60,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling machines.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds based on material and part specifications.
- Simulate and verify CNC programs to ensure accuracy, prevent collisions, and optimize cycle times.
- Create detailed tooling sheets, setup instructions, and operational procedures for machine operators.
- Collaborate with design engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs during initial runs and production to resolve issues.
- Perform first article inspections and make necessary program adjustments to meet quality standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, Fusion 360).
- Strong understanding and ability to write and edit G-code and M-code manually.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and GD&T.
- Proven experience programming multi-axis (3, 4, or 5-axis) CNC milling machines.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, workholding, materials, and machining strategies.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with 5-axis programming and advanced machining strategies.
- Proficiency in fixture design and workholding development.
- Knowledge of CMM programming or advanced metrology for part inspection.
- Ability to modify or develop post-processors for CNC machines.
