Job DescriptionJob Title: Customer Advocate I
Duration: 6 months. (Possible Extension)
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay rate: $25 on W2

Onsite- may transition to hybrid only if business is confident person can work independently and perform as expected. Person will need to have their own equipment if transitioning to hybrid. Otherwise they will remain fully onsite.

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate and objective manner. Customer Service w/ administrative duties.

Job requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment.
  • Experience evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions.
  • Data entry and/or typing experience with basic computer skills.
  • Interpersonal, analytical, organizational and independent decision making skills.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred job requirements:

  • 1 year’s customer service experience.
  • 6 months data entry experience in an office environment.
  • Experience working with various lines of business, i.e. CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
