Job Description:
Are you a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a passion for helping individuals on their
journey to recovery? Wasatch Recovery Treatment Center is seeking a skilled Therapist to join
our team and make a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with addiction and mental
health issues. This position requires 2-3 evening IOP groups.

mental health treatment services. Located in Sandy, Utah, our outpatient center is committed to
offering evidence-based, client-centered care to support individuals and families in achieving
lasting recovery.
Position Overview:
As an Outpatient Therapist at Wasatch Recovery Treatment Center, you will play a vital role in
the treatment team, providing individual and group therapy sessions to clients dealing with
substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will have the opportunity to make
a meaningful difference in the lives of those seeking recovery and healing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Provide evidence-based therapy, including individual and group counseling.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Facilitate educational and therapeutic groups as part of the treatment program.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling or seeking a degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensed or pursuing (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, SUDC or equivalent).
- Experience in addiction and mental health treatment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
