What you’ll tackle
- Verify safe operation across stationary systems: boilers; ammonia and Freon chillers; air compressors; glycol and AHU cooling; fire protection; air handling; wastewater; and hot oil.
- Run inspections on schedule, document results, and escalate any abnormal conditions to management.
- Execute PMs, track and close service calls, and keep performance trending in the right direction.
- Adjust setpoints/controls to achieve safe, efficient operation through the building automation system (pneumatic and electronic).
- Own spares and consumables accuracy—log and manage inventory of gaskets, chemicals, pumps, and more.
- Commit to ongoing training to maintain your Stationary Engineer license and master emerging technologies.
Bring these credentials
- High school diploma or GED and 4 years of relevant experience.
- Valid Stationary Engineer license; proof of certification required.
- Experience with building automation systems, including both pneumatic and electronic controls.
- Broad, practical knowledge of boiler systems, ammonia/Freon chillers, air compressors, glycol and AHU cooling systems, fire protection, air handling, wastewater, and hot oil systems.
Working here
This role is hands-on in a loud factory environment. You’ll frequently stand, walk, reach, climb ladders/lifts, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in tight spaces; regularly use close and color vision; communicate and hear; occasionally sit; and at times lift or move more than 50 pounds. You may encounter outdoor weather and occasional electrical shock risk, as well as hazardous materials and slick or greasy floors.
Rewards
Pay Range (USD): $36.00 – $47.00
