Optician
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a candidate with optical experience or an optician who can help us with glasses sales, frame adjustments, and billing insurance for glasses orders. We are currently open to full or part time.

We have a new edger and lens tracer (Essilor Delta 200) along with the Optikam. We also have all new dispensing tools.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience working as an Optician
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check prior to employment
- Licensed (preferred but not required)
Duties:
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyewear based on their prescription and personal preferences
- Take accurate measurements of customers' facial features and optical parameters
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frame styles
- Order and verify the accuracy of eyewear prescriptions.
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records
- Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to ensure proper patient care
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in eyewear fashion and technology
- Submit insurance for glasses orders
- Uphold a welcoming, well maintained optical space that reflects the quality of patient care we provide
Skills:
- Experience is highly valued, however we are willing to train the right candidate who is seeking a long-term career in opticianry and is eager to grow professionally with our practice
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail to accurately measure, fit, and adjust eyewear for optimal vision correction
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of customer service
