Job SummaryClient is seeking a Receptionist and Switchboard Operator to represent our team at a client site. This role is responsible for front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering and transferring calls, issuing visitor badges, and supporting onsite administrative staff. The ideal candidate will have a professional appearance, excellent communication skills, and previous experience in administrative or receptionist roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming calls using the Citrix phone system
- Take accurate messages and ensure timely follow-up
- Greet visitors and issue visitor badges according to site protocol
- Monitor and respond to the services email inbox
- Perform minimal data entry tasks
- Provide general support to the onsite administrative team
- Maintain a tidy and professional front desk environment
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally
- Demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and customer service orientation
Required Qualifications
- Professional demeanor and polished appearance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Familiarity with business phone systems (Citrix or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in administrative, receptionist, or front desk roles
- Experience supporting teams in a managed service environment
