Compensation and Schedule

• Pay Range: $45.90 - $51.20 per hour, depending on prior experience.
• Schedule: PRN (as needed).

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver ongoing therapy to clients in accordance with physician orders.
• Communicate client progress within the agency.
• Evaluate and treat clients, maintaining clear communication with families, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
• Document services accurately and timely.
• Assess clients and develop effective treatment plans as requested by physicians, obtaining necessary approvals.
• Initiate prescribed treatments and keep physicians informed about client progress.
• Adhere to the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act in the state.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a master’s degree in Speech Pathology, with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or equivalent experience of at least one year working with adults and children with neurological disorders.
• Valid Speech Pathology license in the state (where applicable) or actively gaining the required supervisory experience for licensure.
• Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility for registration.
• Recommended membership in the Speech Language Hearing Association.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation.
