Job DescriptionMedical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist***.
- Minimum of one year of experience required.
This is a TEMPORARY position requiring availability between the hours of 9AM-5PM, Monday, Tuesday and Friday, located in Virginia Beach, VA.
Responsibilities:A Day in the life of a Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist:
As a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist you will be responsible for assisting with rooming patients, taking vitals, prescription refill calls, drawing blood, patient follow-up and other duties as assigned.
Requirements for the Medical Assistant:
- Required: One year of experience working as a medical assistant or phlebotomist
- Required: Must be confident and skilled in blood draws
- Required: Ability to pass Background Check
- Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
- Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications for the medical assistant:
- Preferred: CMA or RMA
- Preferred: Family medicine experience
