We are seeking a skilled fabricator with expertise in 2G/3G Dual Shield Welding and Fabrication at the journeyman level. The role involves some fabrication around the shop using shop drawings and complex blueprints. Experience with MIG FCAW/GMAW welding on pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers is required. The work includes welding materials ranging from 10 gauge to 1.5-inch thickness. While proficiency in all welding positions is ideal, most welds are performed in one position.
Responsibilities
- Perform 2G/3G Dual Shield Welding and Fabrication at journeyman level.
- Fabricate components using shop drawings and complex blueprints.
- Execute MIG FCAW/GMAW welding on pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers.
- Handle materials ranging from 10 gauge to 1.5-inch thickness.
- Ensure high-quality welding in predominantly one position.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Dual Shield Welding and Fabrication.
- Experience with MIG FCAW/GMAW welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and shop drawings.
- Experience with welding on pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a job shop environment preferred.
- Knowledge in working with a variety of materials including stainless steel.
- Part of the boilermakers union.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
