CMA requires Court Reporting Services for Grand Jury and Deposition.
Education/Experience:
The Court Reporter shall hold the certification as a National Court Reports Association (NCRA) Registered Professional Reporter (RPR), or equivalent.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Grand Jury Testimony and Deposition Transcripts shall be typed in an original and delivered within the turnaround times set forth.
- All regular transcripts will be completed and delivered on or before the 10th business day after the date a witness testifies in the Grand Jury.
- A regular transcript shall be delivered for each witness testimony when requested on or before the 10th business day after the request is received.
- Intermediate transcripts shall be completed and delivered on or before the 5th business day after the request is received.
- Daily Grand Jury transcripts shall be delivered before 9:30am of the following business day after the conclusion of a day's proceedings.
- expedited transcripts shall be delivered by 9:00pm the same day of the proceedings.
- Proceedings are scheduled for 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm with a one hour lunch break.
- The Court Reporter is guaranteed payment of a minimum of three hours.
- All proceedings shall be recorded and A read back capability is required.
