Position: School Psychologist (Contract)

A school district in San Mateo, CA, is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to join their team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in school-based psychological services who are dedicated to supporting student success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students to identify learning needs and behavioral challenges
- Develop and implement intervention plans and support strategies in collaboration with educators, parents, and staff
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Support students' social-emotional development and conduct crisis interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid California School Psychologist license or certification
- Experience working in school environments, preferably within K-12 settings
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
