Family Nurse Practitioner
Location: Lexington, SC
Pay Rate: $74.87 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary and family care services. This role involves delivering evidence-based care, managing patient health outcomes, and supporting a collaborative clinical care team while practicing with a high level of autonomy.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Training: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary and family care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health counseling
- Perform routine examinations and diagnostic testing
- Develop and manage comprehensive treatment plans
- Support chronic condition management and preventive health services
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and wellness strategies
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Manage administrative duties including clinic opening/closing, inventory, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection
- Maintain accurate documentation and a clean clinical environment
- Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Current National Board Certification
- Active State license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
- Minimum of one (1) year recent primary care or family medicine experience preferred
- Strong understanding of quality measures and chronic disease management
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative clinical team
- Proficiency with healthcare technology and electronic documentation systems
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure if required
