Meridian HealthCare is seeking full and part-time Outpatient Treatment Therapists - LISW, LPCC, LISW-S, LPCC-S, LICDC, LICDC-CS to join our team. Our therapists enjoy free CEUs offered throughout the year with an emphasis on supervision, ethics, and trauma-informed care; supervision and consultation; and generous benefits to encourage self-care (see in detail below). Starting yearly salary begins at $58,000 and up commensurate with experience and licensure.
Daily Expectations and Duties:
We are seeking an experienced, independently licensed counselor to join our Evening IOP team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, client-centered professional who thrives in a group setting and is passionate about helping individuals achieve lasting recovery.
- Facilitate IOP group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT, MI, etc.)
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual counseling as needed
- Document all services in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
- Participate in treatment team meetings and coordinate care with other providers
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines
- Support clients in achieving recovery goals within a structured therapeutic environment
Qualifications:
• Must hold an independent clinical license in the State of Ohio (LPCC, LISW, IMFT, LICDC-CS)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance use or mental health counseling
• Prior group facilitation experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with trauma-informed and client-centered approaches
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
