Job DescriptionJob Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Accounting & Logistics Specialist to support both financial and operational functions. This role blends accounting responsibilities with inventory and logistics coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working across departments to keep processes running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support
-Process accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment application, and follow-up on outstanding balances
-Manage accounts payable by reviewing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and preparing payments
-Record journal entries and complete account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
-Assist with monthly and periodic reporting using Excel and accounting software
-Collaborate with internal teams to review financial data and identify discrepancies or trends
Logistics & Inventory Coordination
-Coordinate customer shipment releases to warehouse locations to support on-time delivery
-Track inventory levels, perform periodic counts, and reconcile variances
-Partner with warehouse teams to support efficient storage and distribution operations
-Communicate with carriers, vendors, and external partners to resolve shipping or supply issues
-Assist with improving logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Cross-Training & Backup Support
-Learn both accounting and logistics functions to provide backup coverage when needed
-Step in during absences or high-volume periods to maintain workflow continuity
-Participate in ongoing training to expand knowledge across departments
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
-Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and reporting
-Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills
-High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
-Excellent organization and time-management skills
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Inventory or logistics experience is a plus
-Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
