Practice Overview
- Hospital-based GI service with 10-bed procedure suite and local ASC access
- Approximately 80% procedural focus with 10-12 cases per half day
- Swing-room scheduling is designed to maximize efficiency and throughput
- The GI hospitalist team covers the majority of annual call
- Infrastructure in place for IBD, motility, and fellowship involvement
Schedule
- Procedural-heavy model wrapping most days by late afternoon
- Shared call covering inpatient consults and ED needs
- Predictable workflow with centralized clinic, procedure, and recovery space
- Built-in referral volume supporting consistent case flow
Compensation & Benefits
