Descripción del Puesto:
El puesto de Lavaplatos y Utilidad General es responsable de mantener los estándares de limpieza y saneamiento de vajillas, cristalería, utensilios de cocina y más, utilizando métodos de limpieza manual y con máquina. Este rol también garantiza que el área de lavado se mantenga limpia, segura y sanitaria en todo momento.

Position Overview:
The Dishwasher & General Utility position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and more — using both machine and manual cleaning methods. This role also ensures the dishwashing area is kept clean, safe, and sanitary at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils; load dish racks and run through the dish machine
- Sort and stack clean dishes; deliver to cook's line and proper storage areas; rewash any soiled items before delivering
- Change dishwater in the dish machine every hour
- Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand
- Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
- Set up and break down the dishwashing area
- Clean and roll/unroll floor mats
- Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- Sweep and mop floors; wipe up spills to keep kitchen floors dry
- Assemble and disassemble dish machine
- Sweep around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster area
- Perform general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed
- Notify manager if dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below required safety temperatures
- Perform other duties as assigned
