Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems, specializing in the design, manufacture, and installation of custom closets, home offices, media centers, wall beds, garage cabinetry, and more. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our Production team. In this hands-on role, youll operate woodworking tools and machinery to cut, edge, and assemble components for our custom-built systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in precision, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Youll also have the chance to cross-train across multiple shop stations, building a versatile skillset while supporting the team wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate woodworking equipment (including the Edge Bander and CNC router system) to cut, edge and assemble materials according to production specs
  • Quality check each piece to ensure its clean, accurate and ready for install
  • Assist with material handling, restocking and supporting production flow as needed
  • Follow all quality control and safety procedures to keep yourself and your team working at their best
  • Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment to keep things running smoothly
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace from start to finish


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience with woodworking tools, machinery, cabinet-making or a similar hands-on production role a plus!
  • Ability to read and follow cut lists or production documents
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to take direction with a positive attitude and no ego
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn new skills
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
