Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments utilizing Varian Truebeam technology in a clinical setting serving patients across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric. This role demands expertise in advanced techniques including 2D, 3D, DIBH, IMRT, and SBRT, ensuring alignment with oncologists' prescriptions and safety protocols.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current ARRT certification and valid West Virginia state license.
- Recent hands-on experience with Varian Truebeam systems, including operational knowledge of Truebeam treatment and Siemens CT Simulator.
- Proficiency in treatment planning and delivery, with ability to lead and mentor less experienced Radiation Therapists when necessary.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Aria, PACS, and Meditech.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to perform radiation therapy and simulations, including customized block design.
- Strong munication skills for collaboration with oncologists, radiologists, and healthcare team.
