Natural Resources Intern

  • You have strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor, wanting to gain experience in natural resources by assisting with and collaborating in the preparation and administration of projects that focus on
    • nuisance wildlife
    • invasive and non-native plant species
    • the Healthy Stream Initiative
    • wildlife population
    • ecological restoration
    • prescribed burns
    • vegetation removal
    • and more!
  • You're at least 18 years old with high school completion or GED
  • You have at least 1 year of combined educational and professional experience in natural resources, environmental land management, ecosystem management, watershed activities, or a similar field

Summary

The Natural Resources Intern is responsible for assisting in the successful identification, administration, and implementation of all natural resources, environmental, wildlife and land management activities on MetroParks’ property.

  • 28 hours per week
  • Bi-weekly pay
  • $14.00 per hour
  • 14% OPERS employer contribution
