Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Infusion position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring an active NM or Compact RN license along with AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
Details
- Infusion services unit within a regional medical center
- Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Multiple shifts available
- Weekend and on-call requirements apply
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NM RN license or Compact state RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — copies must be active and on file
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and patient communication skills
- US Social Security Number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include obtaining and documenting initial assessments, reassessing patients to identify trends, and developing individualized plans of care
- Performs Point of Care testing procedures and implements timely nursing interventions
- Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay — local candidates are not accepted on this position unless explicitly noted
