Main Responsibilities
- Search and book loads (working with brokers and load boards).
- Negotiate rates and choose profitable routes (including backhauls).
- Plan and dispatch trucks, monitor trip execution.
- Stay in contact with drivers, resolve issues, and on-the-road problems.
- Handle paperwork (rate confirmations, BOL, POD).
- Gradually increase the number of trucks under management: starting with 3–4, then 5–6 and more.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a trucking dispatcher (6 months may be considered).
- Strong English and Russian language skills (communication with brokers and drivers of different nationalities).
- Negotiation skills, ability to resolve conflicts and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of freight rates and specifics of transportation across different states.
- Must be ready to work in the office (no remote option).
- Valid work authorization in the U.S.
Conditions
- Office-based position in Grafton, OH (near Cleveland).
- Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM in the office, with availability after hours to resolve urgent situations.
- Pay: 3% of gross, weekly payments. Average weekly income $800–1000, with potential to grow as more trucks are assigned.
- Employment under W2.
- Training and onboarding support from a supervisor.
- Opportunity to take on more trucks and increase income.
