Water for Life, a reputable water treatment company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Water Treatment Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of water treatment systems, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Pay is competitive to start, depending on your experience.

  • Keep track of the inventory in both places.
  • Pick up at R and L and stage inventory according to customer for easy pickup at least two days in advance of the installation, using the attached form.
  • Setup and maintain a section in the warehouse for whole house systems, parts, and tools and notify leadership the same day as equipment comes in off box labels, whose equipment you are picking up by reading the PO labels Showing the first four letters of the customer’s last name.
  • Set up and maintain a cartridge replacement section in the home office and order product from leadership when you are down to the reorder point of 3 of each brand of cartridge and 2 of each membrane or any other replacement part.
  • Make sure that you get everything ready for the next day and loaded on the truck every afternoon before leaving for the day.
  • Get to the office at 8:00 daily, and your first call that’s within 30 minutes by 8:30 or those over an hour by 9:00, at the latest.
  • Be able to do 2 normal WH +RO installations in a day.
  • Be able to do 5 normal service calls per day, with proper planning.
  • Keep the Water for Life truck organized and efficient the way you work off of it and have a place for everything and everything back in its place before leaving for home.
  • Document everything you do to leadership in writing as you go after each stop in the truck on your weekly report to be submitted on Thursdays before you go home.
  • Call me 2x daily @ lunch, and immediately upon leaving on your way back after last call to update leadership on your progress, on the amount collected, and on jobs completed, so we have a double check on hours spent.
  • Shoot to have field work done by 4:00 PM daily.
  • Complete your end of day planning two days out until done and report by phone to leadership.
  • Complete staging and marking products by customer name or PO label two days in advance
  • Complete loading and purchasing parts for jobs at least one day in advance so you can be done by 4:30.
  • Work until the job is finished, meaning you have done a “I hate leaks club” double check on both units installed and reported by phone to me on collections before leaving the customer’s house, regardless of the time it takes.
  • Keep gas, oil, and truck parts inventory at par or above, purchased out of your advance.
  • Complete your report daily for that day’s work and expenses. Your paycheck will not be issued unless your report in completed, totaled, and turned in with your signature.
  • Submit your weekly report from Friday thru Thursday weekly on Thursdays before going home.
  • Always make sure the water is turned back on before you leave a customer’s house.
  • Clean the water, trash, and boxes up, and put away all tools where they belong before leaving any customer’s house.
  • Keep your tools organized, clean, oiled, and free of rust.
  • Change your truck’s oil before the due date on your sticker.
  • Repay your advance before leaving the company.
  • Be personally neat, clean, and well groomed.
  • Be honest in all your dealings with customers, employees, and leaders.
