Job Description

Job DescriptionA reputable organization is seeking a Trust and Banking Coordinator to oversee trust and operating account transactions and support firm banking operations. This role requires 3–5 years of law firm accounting experience and strong familiarity with banking and treasury management platforms. No remote options available.

Duties and Responsibilities
Post incoming wires received through various Treasury Management platforms
Process outgoing wires and check requests for real estate closings and settlement payments
Assist with opening and closing firm bank accounts
Open and close investment subaccounts for trust escrow deposits
Process voided trust checks, stop payments, and reissue stale-dated trust checks
Process firm-related outgoing wires and post corresponding general ledger transactions
Reconcile firm and trust bank account statements
Provide backup support to the Cash Receipts team by posting incoming operating account deposits
Maintain accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions
Perform additional duties as assigned

Skills and Educational Requirements
3–5 years of law firm accounting experience required
Experience working with online business banking or Treasury Management platforms
Candidates may be considered from law firms, title companies, or banking institutions.
Aderant accounting software experience preferred
Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
High level of professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
Strong commitment to in-office attendance and punctuality

Full-time position
Standard hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
