Locums Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery in Minnesota, centered on dedicated trauma OR blocks with EPIC and strong APP support, a clean fit for physicians who want a predictable monthly rhythm.

• APP support on site, including a full time Trauma PA on weekends
• Opportunity to incorporate pelvic and acetabular work if that aligns with your skill set

Practice Setting

• Inpatient focused orthopaedic trauma service caring for adult patients
• 238 bed hospital environment with ED consults and inpatient rounding built into the daily flow
• Typical 24 hour trauma or acute care block averages 15 to 25 patient touches per day across rounds, consults, and new evaluations
• EPIC charting

Schedule

• Ongoing need for about 10 days per month
• Daily morning Trauma OR blocks
• Clinic built into the week, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
• Call is structured as acute care surgicalist coverage or a dedicated trauma call block

Cases and Procedures

• Complex and long bone fractures, including femur, tibia, and humerus
• Orthopedic trauma cases, with pelvic and acetabular work welcomed when available

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery experience and case comfort aligned with inpatient trauma coverage
• Active Minnesota license required, facility will not wait for licensure
