The Manufacturing Technician will collaborate with production team members to achieve production schedules while adhering to quality, cost, delivery, technical, and safety standards. This role involves hands-on tasks essential to daily operations, contributing to the company's success.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules.
- Use hand and power tools, fixtures, and molds effectively.
- Perform mechanical assembly, potting, and soldering applications.
- Handle delicate materials and perform tasks using magnifying glass or microscope.
- Follow technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints for product assembly.
- Conduct product testing with specialized equipment like electronic volt meters and helium leak test equipment.
- Operate equipment such as laser beam welders, winders, wrappers, filling systems, and surface grinders.
- Execute process procedures for cell manufacture and assembly.
- Perform product quality self-inspections.
- Maintain computer-generated documentation and record-keeping.
Essential Skills
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Experience with electromechanical assembly.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Familiarity with blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Ability to work safely with chemical compounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work overtime or alternate schedules as needed.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent attendance and reliability record.

Work Environment

Working hours are 1st Shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with scheduled breaks. Employees work in clean-room gear and may spend extended periods in dry environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
