Salary Range: $49,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage and train shipping and receiving staff, providing guidance and feedback.
- Ensure all incoming materials are accurately inspected, logged, and stored according to company procedures.
- Verify outgoing shipments against purchase orders and packing lists, ensuring correct quantities and product quality.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to manage material flow and meet production schedules.
- Operate and maintain shipping and receiving equipment, ensuring safety and proper functioning.
- Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading and receiving reports.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in a shipping and receiving role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and understanding of shipping documentation (e.g., BOLs, packing slips).
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- - Forklift certification or demonstrated proficiency.
- - Familiarity with ERP/WMS software for inventory and order management.
- - Basic understanding of import/export documentation and compliance.
- - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot shipping/receiving issues independently.
