Job Details:
\n
• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
\n• Work on stroke and neuro floor with ortho and spine patients
\n• Willing and able to float within department as needed
\n• Work every other weekend and fair share of holidays
\n• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients
\n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
\n• Assist physicians in examination of patients and minor diagnostic procedures
\n• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients
\n• Administer medications as prescribed
\n• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
\n• Interact with family and patients regarding care plans and discharge information
\n• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
\n• Delegate tasks to support staff
\n• Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC), ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
\n• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required
\n• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
