Job DescriptionPosition Summary
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse team in Indianapolis, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable individuals who have experience operating both propane and electric sit-down forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, productive, and able to keep pace with daily material handling operations during a high-volume production season.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Yale propane and Heli electric sit-down forklifts.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks efficiently.
- Transport raw materials and finished products throughout the warehouse.
- Stage materials for shipping, receiving, and production as needed.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company and OSHA safety standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including PPE requirements
- PPE required: Safety Glasses - provided
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience operating electric sit-down forklifts is required.
- Experience operating propane sit-down forklifts is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to safety and accuracy while moving materials.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work throughout an entire shift.

Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- Currently working 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM for peak season
- Standard Hours 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
