Work Type: Onsite

Schedule:

  • Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Monday – Thursday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

This position is based at our Central Fill Pharmacy in Everett, WA, which processes patient-level prescriptions for a large national retail pharmacy chain.

  • Position Summary
  • The Pharmacy Assistant works in an automated refill center performing warehouse and fulfillment operations. This role supports prescription processing by packing, sorting, receiving, and shipping orders while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to perform repetitive tasks while meeting daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process prescription orders for shipment
  • Fold and package paperwork with prescriptions for delivery
  • Sort completed orders by store location and prepare totes for shipping
  • Load products onto trucks for distribution
  • Receive, pack, sort, and ship prescription orders
  • Maintain workflow to meet daily production goals
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and pharmacy standards to protect patient privacy
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate operational issues when necessary
  • Promote and uphold the company's ICARE principles

Required Qualifications

  • Washington State Pharmacy Assistant Certification (required)
  • Ability to lift and carry 20–25 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours per shift)
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, and grasp throughout the workday
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Licensing Requirement

Candidates must obtain a Washington State Department of Health (DOH) Pharmacy Assistant License. Applicants may apply for the license upon receiving a job offer.
