Job DescriptionJob Description: Concrete ForemanApply at: www.ucpstaffing.comA Concrete Foreman is a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing the execution of concrete projects from pour to finish. This role balances technical expertise with crew management to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to structural specifications.Concrete Foreman Core ResponsibilitiesThe Foreman serves as the bridge between project management and the field crew. Key duties include:

  • Crew Leadership: Directing and supervising a team of finishers, laborers, and carpenters. This includes scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Site Preparation: Reading blueprints and site maps to oversee the layout, formwork installation, and reinforcement (rebar/mesh) placement.
  • Pour Management: Coordinating the delivery of concrete, managing pump trucks, and ensuring the mix meets project requirements (slump, air content, etc.).
  • Quality Control: Supervising the leveling, smoothing, and finishing of surfaces to ensure they meet grade and aesthetic standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident job site.
  • Documentation: Tracking daily logs, material usage, equipment maintenance, and labor hours.

Bilingual needed to work with crew.TechnicalProficiency in reading blueprints, elevations, and laser levels.
