Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity calls for a licensed School Psychologist to provide on-site services at an elementary school located in Aurora, CO. This contract position offers a 1.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) schedule with a start date as soon as possible and an end date of May 22. The role requires a Professional Special Services License issued by the Colorado Department of Education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with special education coordinators, teachers, and school administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and behavioral interventions for approximately 40 students on the caseload.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports to meet district and state compliance standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold a Professional Special Services License in School Psychology from the Colorado Department of Education.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively during the interview process, articulating relevant experience and skills.
  • Energetic, lively, and positive demeanor to engage effectively with students and staff.
  • Experience managing a caseload of around 40 students is preferred.

Hiring Process:Candidates will undergo a two-step interview process: the first interview with the Special Education Coordinator, followed by a second interview with the School Principal.

Location:Position requires full-time onsite work at the elementary school in Aurora, Colorado.
