Step into a rewarding role working with a homebound 19-year-old student during ESY (Extended School Year) from June 8 through July 28. This contract opportunity is ideal for a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and enjoys delivering personalized services—either virtually or on-site.
As a key resource for this student's communication needs, you'll tailor therapy sessions to support functional speech and language goals, making a meaningful difference over the summer. Candidates should be comfortable providing services either in person or via secure virtual platforms, offering maximum flexibility for your practice and schedule.
Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC.
- Experience working in educational or homebound settings strongly preferred.
- Ability to adapt therapy to both in-person and telepractice modalities.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Compassion, reliability, and commitment to student success.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy for 30 minutes per week to a homebound high school-aged student.
- Develop targeted therapy plans aligned with ESY goals and the student’s unique needs.
- Maintain detailed session documentation and collaborate with families and other professionals as needed.
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold best practices for both in-person and virtual service delivery.
