Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma acute care setting requiring ARRT and BLS certification.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in an acute care department covering general X-ray, ED, inpatient, and orthopedic/spine procedures in the OR
- Department includes 3 general X-ray rooms, 2 fluoro units, 6 portables, and 9 C-arms
- Average daily caseload is 20-30 studies
- Utilize GE C-arms, Carestream and Shimadzu portables, GE/Fuji rad rooms, Epic EMR, and Fuji PACS
- Night shifts, 4x10s with weekend and holiday coverage required
- No floating to other departments
- Duties include coverage of emergency, inpatient, and OR imaging (primarily ortho and spine cases)
- Comprehensive orientation provided including equipment overview and Epic EMR setup
- Hospital provides blue scrubs
- Radiologists are in-house during the day and remote at night
- No IV starts required
- Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility as determined by permanent address and driver's license
- Returning employees must not have worked at any related facility in the past year

- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma setting
- Active ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications are required
- Ability to perform OR procedures using C-arms
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and Fuji PACS
- Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
- Must submit a valid driver's license for consideration
- Two professional references required: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years
