Multiple part-time positions are currently available at Taylor Middle High, University High, and Hinson Middle for the 2026-2027 school year. You'll collaborate with educational teams and families to provide the highest quality speech and language services. Supervision is readily available for Clinical Fellows (CFs), fostering growth in a supportive atmosphere, though SLPAs and virtual candidates are not being considered.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a current Florida Speech-Language Pathology License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working in schools and with diverse student populations is valuable
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to assigned students
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress
- Document session notes and maintain student records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with educators, specialists, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
This rewarding contract begins August 4, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027. The weekly commitment is set at 37.5 hours, offering robust experience in the educational landscape of Florida.
